Balthazar Design Hotel is located in Krakow, Poland. The restored 19th century tenement houses just a short walk from the Wawel Castle and the main Market Square. Inspired by boutique London hotels the eclectic decorating style is visible in every corner of the hotel. The combination of rough and smooth textures are incorporated, from rattan doors, stone fireplaces to velvet and silk textures integrated on the furniture. Newmor’s Envy wallcovering was chosen for the bedrooms in two colourways – shimmering gold and warm silver.

The project
Balthazar Design Hotel is located in Krakow, Poland. The restored 19th century tenement houses just a short walk from the Wawel Castle and the main Market Square. Inspired by boutique London hotels the eclectic decorating style is visible in every corner of the hotel. The combination of rough and smooth textures are incorporated, from rattan doors, stone fireplaces to velvet and silk textures integrated on the furniture. Newmor’s Envy wallcovering was chosen for the bedrooms in two colourways – shimmering gold and warm silver.
This delicate weave design is printed on a high shine metallic ground brought a sophisticated and brings an opulent feel to the bedrooms. Focal points of the rooms include a statement damask headboard which pulls together tones of warmed up greys, gold, silver and burnt orange. In corridors our Colton vinyl wallcovering was selected, a stylish retake on a classic tweed pattern, in a chalky grey with gold metallics which complement the atmospheric interiors.
